Xinyue Zhao is a Boston-based graphic designer, art director, and brand strategist. She earned her MS in Marketing and Technological Innovation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2015 and her MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University in 2017. At the award-winning digital communications teams of Boston University and IDG Communications Inc., she collaborated with global tech leaders including IBM, Adobe, and Google. She has partnered with FxB Media to architect brand strategies and nurture fan communities across New England through cohesive design voices. Her cross-disciplinary projects span brand identity, typography, events, and digital experiences—all anchored in strategic storytelling.
Born in Beijing and growing up in a family of scientists, Xinyue's creative voice flourishes in five languages—Mandarin, English, Design, Marketing, and Humanity. Her practice evolves relentlessly, pushing forms to reflect contemporary trends and global cultural shifts. A dreamer who ships. A thinker who iterates. She treats trends like sunlight—something to grow toward, not chase.
